Study of the economics of aging involving secondary data analyses of existing national data files and of qualitative files from Statistics Canada. Statistics Canada is making it possible for our group to use data files that have never been released to the academic community. Projects I am co-investigator on are a longitudinal analysis of the income of older divorced women using the SLID and a qualitative study of Chinese widows and their income supports.
