This project takes an innovative approach to link social work practices, voices and views to cultural representations by drawing upon the field of cultural studies. A modified Foucaultian perspective, using arts-based inquiry, will be adopted to re-interpret existing data from social work settings. The hypothesis is that such an approach will provide pathways for imaging alternative social realities conducive to solidarity.
