Principal Investigator: Marion Bogo
Co-investigators: Glen Regehr, University of Toronto, Cheryl Regehr, University of Toronto
Funded by: SSHRC Standard Grant
This project aims to develop and test a new approach to evaluation of students’ practice through adapting the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) methodology used in health science professions to social work. An interdisciplinary team of social work scholars and cognitive scientists are building on our previous studies of conceptualizing competence in social work to produce innovative methods of evaluation. Scientists are from the Wilson Centre, Faculty Medicine, an interdisciplinary centre to advance healthcare professions education and practice through research.
