National Initiative for the Elderly (NICE)
NICE
is an international network of practitioners, researchers, policy
makers, students and older adults dedicated to improving the care of
older adults both in Canada and abroad. Members who work in
interdisciplinary teams represent a broad spectrum of disciplines
including geriatric medicine and nursing, gerontological social work,
rehabilitation, policy and law. NICE helps to close the gap between
evidence-based practice and research through the development and use of
pocket tools for practice and policy; through the mentoring and
training of students, and the development of standards for
gerontological curricula in the main professions.
International Collaboration for the Elderly (ICCE)
(ICCE) is dedicated to the same knowledge translation activities
with researcher, practitioner and student partners in 9 countries:
Australia, China, England, Germany, India, Israel, Scotland, South
Africa and Switzerland.
