Social Work Research Initiatives
Research collaborations between the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work and agency partners in the Greater Toronto Area concerned with the welfare of children, competency for professional practice, arts and social work research, social work and aging, health and mental health , welfare reform, precarious work & health and newcomers have been established in order to develop joint research, dissemination and advocacy efforts. Several joint research projects, funded by a variety of industry, foundation and governmental sources are currently underway.Our partners are involved in every step from deciding on which issues to research to putting results back into practice to evaluate their effectiveness.
