Sajedeh is a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto. She has 15 years of experience working as a social worker in the mental health field. Since 1999, she has worked in various capacities at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Her latest position as a Program Consultant with the GTA West – Provincial Services of CAMH, entails mental health and addictions program and service planning, research and collaboration involving a broad range of community service providers and networks with a particular interest in health equity and community engagement.
Her research interests include mental health of racialized groups, immigrants and refugees, social determinants of health, social justice and health equity issues.
