Jennifer Martin is a Ph.D. candidate at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work where her doctoral research explores the harms done to children made the subjects of child sexual abuse images online.
Jennifer has over twenty years experience in direct practice, supervisory, and consulting positions. She has substantial experience as a school-based child and youth care counsellor and has worked extensively with homeless and street-involved youth. She specializes in assessments and treatment for children and youth who have experienced interpersonal trauma. She has worked as a child and family therapist, a consultant to children’s day treatment programs, and as a therapist facilitating support groups for non-offending parents of children who have been sexually abused. Jennifer has a private practice as a clinical therapist and consultant in the area of child and adolescent mental health.
