Terry West has worked for 35+ years in child welfare, 10 years as a front-line child protection worker, eight years as a front-line Intake Supervisor and 20 years as a Director of Human Resources.
As Director of Human Resources in child welfare he edited a number of documents for the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies (OACAS) including: Central Bargaining-Discussion Paper (1992); Essential Services-Labour Relations Act-Task Group Report (1993); Restructuring-Human Resources Issues-Task Group Report (1996), Staffing Benchmark Project Report (2008).
He now has a private consulting practice, working with the Ministry of Child and Youth Services, and a variety of social service organizations.
