Les Fleischer, Ph.D. (Smith College), M.S.W. (Toronto), RSW, FIPA.
Dr. Fleischer received his Ph.D. from Smith College as well as a certificate in individual therapy. He has also trained as a psychoanalyst, is a graduate of the Toronto Institute of Psychoanalysis, and is a member of the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society, the International Psychoanalytical Association, and the American Psychoanalytic Association. He is an Assistant Professor at the School of Social Work at Lakehead University, Orillia campus. He is on the faculty at the Toronto Institute of Psychoanalysis. He maintains a private practice in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. Special areas of clinical and research interest include adult and adolescent mental health, psychoanalysis, social work education, education of mental health professionals, personality disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, sports psychology, and treatment outcome research.
