For the coming year, we are excited to offer an expanded range of courses geared to professional and personal development.
Our Continuing Education programming will include courses on:
- solution-focus in the area of professional coaching
- clinical mindfulness and psychotherapy
- self-hypnosis and its use for work with clients and self-care
- practical hypnosis for social workers
- emotional intelligence
- neuroscience and professional practice
- working with youth
- settlement training
In addition we are now offering an Advanced Diploma in Social Service Administration commencing September 2010.
Competent, professional practice involves lifelong learning. Staying current through exploring new specialties, and examining innovative ways to practice and the latest methods to identify best practices strengthens your professional base and sense of competency. This can be achieved through Continuing Education at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work.
